After Winning Scottish Hairdresser of the Year three times, Ishoka’s Philip Bell was inducted into The British Hairdressers of the Year Hall of Fame!

AJC were there to ensure the night ran smoothly and that a good night was had by all. We created a #Bhamoments hashtag so attendees could share their favourite moments from BHA’s past and present and we gave away a bottle of champagne to the person with the best! Schwarzkopf also used the hashtag #Bhaselfie after providing each table with a selfie stick. enabling everyone to get snap happy and capture some great moments. The entertainment for the night was provided by last years Xfactor winner Ben Haenow who entertained guests half way through the night.

The next day there would’ve been a few sore well cut heads following the after party, but there was little rest for the winner as there was an interview with London Live the following day.

It was a nail baiting exciting night and it was fab to see everyone and celebrate afterwards. Massive congratulations to all the winners on the night and we look forward as ever to next year’s nominees and winners.

Hair Club Live Hits Edinburgh!

Date – Sunday 1st November 2015

Time – 7.30pm

Location – Cabaret Voltaire

The Scots love events in the Capital City, and when it was announced that Hair Club Live was setting up shop the excitement hit a new level.

Cabaret Voltaire was the chosen venue and stylists from all over Scotland including Suzie McGill

and Paddy from Rainbow Room International, Sophie Laidlaw of Wonderland Hair, the Charlie Miller Team and more took to the stage to present their take on current trends.

Each stylist had a maximum of 10 minutes to demonstrate their freestyle skill, with Suzie McGill of Rainbow Room opting for a Buzz Cut on her model Chantal – the crowd were buzzing to say the least! To work under such pressure while demonstrating their creative skills to their fellow peers was a daunting task for some, however all took it in their stride and the support and passion for the industry was unbelievable.

With more events set to hit Scotland in the next few months we say roll on the 2016 events!
